In the spring of 2015, the Endeavor office in Louisville opened with the goal of locating and supporting high-impact entrepreneurs throughout the region. The Endeavor Louisville chapter is part of a larger global organization that supports these “high-impact” entrepreneurs across 30 countries with the greatest potential to scale their companies, create jobs, generate wealth, reinvest, and ultimately inspire future entrepreneurs to come. In an effort to assess their high-impact potential, these entrepreneurs are required to undergo a rigorous selection process with a slim 2.5% acceptance rate before being selected into the Endeavor Global network.
Since the launch of the Endeavor office in Louisville, 6 companies and 8 entrepreneurs have been selected from the greater Louisville area as Endeavor Global Entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs have collectively created more than 400 jobs. This number is growing alongside each company, and in 2018 alone these local Endeavor companies are looking to add about 200 more team members.
