Riviera Maya, Mexico – December 17, 2019

Endeavor announced last week that Aaron Gani, Founder of BehaVR, was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur at the 92nd International Selection Panel (ISP) held in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Aaron was selected into the global Endeavor network by a panel of global business leaders including: Rym Baouendi (Tunisia), Andreas Cambitsis (South Africa), Juan Franck (Mexico), John McIntire (USA), Sergio Rosengaus (Mexico), and Marco Veremis (Greece).

BehaVR develops general wellness and digital therapeutics (DTx) virtual reality “experiences” to help users address stress, pain, addiction, and other mental health issues. Widely-accepted medical science indicates that virtual reality provides unique psychological and neurological effects that smartphone-based DTx – or in some cases, traditional behavioral or drug-based treatments – cannot replicate. BehaVR is a pure-play software company that earns revenue from selling annual subscriptions and pre-engaged patient access to clinics, who then offer treatment to patients. BehaVR’s revenue has ballooned in its second year of sales and has closed landmark deals with its first partners in the pharmaceutical and mass-retail health clinic sectors.

John McIntire, panelist for BehaVR, experiences a VR demo.

At the Riviera Maya ISP, panelists from around the world interviewed entrepreneur candidates about their businesses, evaluating them on their potential for high-impact growth, and then deliberated on which candidates should be selected to become Endeavor Entrepreneurs. Once selected, Endeavor Entrepreneurs gain access to an unparalleled global network of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors who volunteer to mentor entrepreneurs as they face challenges with rapid growth.

In addition to being selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur, Aaron participated in EY’s 7 Drivers of Growth workshop while in Riviera Maya. The clinic was led by Stash Lisowski, EY Associate Director of Americas Growth Markets and Guadalupe Castaneda, EY Partner in Mexico City. The exclusive workshop helped entrepreneurs apply the 7 Drivers of Growth framework to identify opportunities to accelerate and sustain business growth.

Aaron Gani joins the global Endeavor network through the regional Endeavor affiliate office in Louisville, Kentucky. Aaron is the 18th entrepreneur to be selected into Endeavor from the region, joining Rivera Group (Joey Rivera, Ph.D), Red e App (Jonathan Erwin and Patrick Goodman), El Toro (Stacy Griggs), SkuVault (Andy Eastes and Slav Ivanyuk), Edj Analytics (Sean O’Leary), Handle (Kyle Green), MXD Process (Mark Franco), Rabbit Hole Distillery (Kaveh Zamanian), Hot Chicken Takeover (Joe DeLoss), Capture Higher Ed (Steve Huey, Len Napolitano, and Eric Shriner), AppHarvest (Jonathan Webb), Switcher Studio (Nick Mattingly), and LISNR (Rodney Williams).
